Hama-rikyu Gardens

One of the most famous Edo period garden in Tokyo establishd in 1704 as a secondary residence for Tokugawa Ieyasu. These gardens have undergone several phases of renovations and have completed their transformation around 230 years ago to the present form. There is a seawater pond and two duck ponds. You can enjoy matcha tea at Nakajima-no-ochaya.

Kappabashi Dougu Street

Kappabashi Dougu Street is a market street specialixed in kitchen ware for proffesional. Approximately 800m in length, find more than 170 shops with products such as kitchen knives, Japanese dinnerware, food samples and convenient cooking tools.<

Asakusa Jidaiya

Cultural experience facility with a lot of variety located right out of Kaminari-mon gate. Enjoy strolling around Asakusa with rental kimono, learning Japanese calligraphy, and riding rickshaw.

Kabuki-za Theatre

A theatre specializing in kabuki performances. Some parts of the facilities are open to the public for free and you can enjoy the taste of the kabuki world. The best times of day to photograph the appearance of the building seem to be after 11:00 and after 16:30.

Tsukiji Market

A wholesale market with the longest history in Tokyo. Make sure to be there before 5am to see the famous auction. The outer market is recommended to the visitors to try foods and go shopping.

Senso-ji Temple (Asakusa)

At Kaminari-mon, or the Thunder Gate, Nakamise-dori Street and Senso-ji Temple, you can enjoy the good old Japanese culture. They are popular places for eating out and buying souvenirs.
